Ingredients

  • 1 piece frozen puff pastry, thawed

  • 8 oz. goat cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons cream

  • ¼ lb. sliced prosciutto

  • ¼ lb. asparagus spears, trimmed

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt

  • Your favorite fresh herbs or microgreens, chopped, for garnish

Directions

  1. 1

    Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. 2

Stir together the goat cheese and cream until fully combined.

  3. 3

On a floured surface, roll out the sheet of puff pastry to approximately 11” x 13” and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

Using the back of a butter knife, score a 1/2” border on all four sides of the pastry but be careful not to cut all the way through. This will cause the edges to raise slightly when baking and create a nice border.

  5. 5

Spread the goat cheese mixture onto the pastry, add the sliced prosciutto and asparagus spears.

  6. 6

Brush with the olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

  7. 7

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the edges of the pastry are a light golden brown. Top with herbs or microgreens and serve warm.
